As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with over 12 years of experience I will help you reduce impact of obesity and diet related diseases (like diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and digestive issues) in context of busyness, stress, exhaustion and burnout – so that you can finally live your life to the fullest, without stressing over every bite.
While the current market allows me to work almost anywhere, I intentionally stay local, and focus on clients in the Washington, DC area. I have worked for Whitman-Walker Health, Food & Friends, Seabury Resources for Aging, and DaVita, among others.
Being a Washingtonian myself (moved to DC proper in 2005), I am no stranger to unique challenges that living in this city can bring. As a Dietitian, I believe that how we feed our body is as important as how we feed our mind and soul, and Eat Be Stay Well LLC is a manifestation of this belief. I believe eating well should be easy and almost intuitive; being well should be seamlessly woven into our daily life so that we can stay well, and thrive in this beautiful thing called life. When working with me I expect you to be curious, open to self-discovery, and in turn I offer welcoming atmosphere, inspiration, whole-person approach and no-nonsense advice. I have a background in teaching and language/linguistics, as well as in media and communications from my previous professional lives and fields of study. I am deeply curious about humanity, Art, time, joy, language (how we talk to each other and even more so – how we talk to ourselves), and – of course – food. I love cheese, tea and dark chocolate in any shape or form; I am married and I am a proud mom to a rescue cat Delilah.
